Asian Movies, Bravo!

Good morning! It's been a million years since I touched this blog again. My summer break just started. I'm not really a movie person but I think drama series is too long for me to completely watch it. The funny thing is after like fifteen minutes of watching movies, I stopped it because I think it's boring. Anyway, I got to watch fully this Thai film named My Name is Love. The good thing is it is not cliche for me. (or Thais don't really do cliche things?) The problem is each twist isn't twisted well. They should have pushed it really well. There are scenes when I started to get touched and teary eyed and then booom false alarm. My fave part of the movie is when the guy started to get interested with his neighbor and he made all papansins. Okay. I'll end it with that. No spoilers. Then I happen to bumped a link for 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant. It's a kdrama. I always see that movie listed as part of top something in some websites even before mysoju died. I would be such loser for not watching it. Honestly, I am clueless about the movie. I just discovered that the leads are Ha Ji Won and Kim Jae Won! Win-win! (promise, I really know them!) Like other kshows, there are rofl kind of scenes. The funny scenes that mostly Korean dramas can pull off. Though its May-September partnership isn't that big thing in the movie, I personally don't mind it but this movie made me realize more that there is still kilig, unusual kilig. I can put myself in the shoes of the lead. I was so slow to get the point of the ending. Sarry. Lol. The third movie is something I never regret watching because I'd totally be a loser again for not watching it. It was even phenomenal. The film is My Sassy Girl. Honestly, I thought it's the movie version of the drama series Sassy Girl. Ok. Shame on me. Lol. Even though the movie is quite long, reading lots of positive comments about it really made me wants to give it a try. Honestly, there are blahs, mehs, or kdot parts but I don't find it boring. Maybe longer movies tend to be like that. I keep on checking the time remaining. I've watched nearly three-fourths of it and my inner me is trying to find the climax, the peak part. Until tadang! I was crying non-stop. I don't want to. But the music and maybe the atmosphere of the scenes strengthens the gravity to pull my tears down. I was literally crying. Not the usual three or five tears. It was a continuous cry. The funny thing is I just realize that almost all of the cast are nameless. Good job! They really pull it off! But seriously those punches, lots of lots of punches hurt! Internal bleeding, you care?

The two latter movies already aged. Like Meteor Garden. But it is still 'viewable'. Sure those movies got outdated phones but the story never aged. It was never baduy or old school. Maybe because of the plot not based on 'trend'. So much for that. I guess I am not giving you spoilers. I'll leave it like that. ;)

PS: can we generalize all Asian movies as A movies? hehe!
